Joni Kay (Pearson) Polson, 64, of Marengo, IN passed away on September 5, 2025 at Baptist Health- Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on November 28, 1960 in Shelbyville, Indiana to the late Charles and Elizabeth (Moyer) Pearson.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Pearson, and is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Pearson, her loving husband, Jeff Polson, and her cherished children: Jared (Nachelle) Pearson, Josh(Jessica) Polson, Julesa (Brad) Etienne, and Joel (Jordan) Polson. She was a proud grandmother to Landon, Rowan and Kennedy Pearson, Carter, Presley, Ellis, Lowell, Kaylee Etienne, and Brantley and Harper Polson, who were the lights of her life. She also leaves behind her siblings: Doug (Karen) Pearson, Cindy Gannon, and Hal (Taryn) Pearson.

An outgoing and warm-hearted soul, Joni had a deep love for cooking, and nothing brought her greater joy than preparing meals for her family. Her kitchen was always a place where the doors were open and laughter filled the air. She treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren, and her greatest joy was seeing their smiling faces. Joni's legacy will live on in the love she shared with her family and the joy she brought to everyone she met.

Joni was a woman whose heart knew no bounds, whose love touched so many, and whose spirit will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed but forever loved by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no services.
