Jordan Ashley Hoecker

Norfolk - Jordan Ashley Hoecker, affectionately known by her family and friends as Jordash, born on June 2, 1994 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on October 8, 2025, at the age of 31. A beloved mother, daughter, fiancé, sister, granddaughter, cousin, niece, and friend, Jordan's passing leaves an immeasurable hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Jordan was a fierce, strong, and loving woman who faced every moment of her journey with courage and and an unstoppable love for those around her. Diagnosed with stage 4 cancer while pregnant at just 29 years old, she never allowed her illness to define her spirit. She was full of life-zesty, spunky, fiery, and unapologetically herself. Her sense of humor and bold honesty brought laughter and light to every room she entered.
Even in her darkest hours, Jordan radiated an unbreakable will to live and connect. Her fire burned bright, and she met each visitor with warmth, humor, and conversation that lifted the heaviness from their hearts. She had a rare gift for making others feel lighter simply by being herself-engaging, funny, and full of love, even when she was the one in pain.
Above all, Jordan adored her precious son, Crue, who was the light of her world. Her love for him was fierce and unwavering, and she found endless happiness in every moment they shared together.
Jordan's warmth, laughter, and fearless authenticity touched countless lives. She will be remembered not only for her strength and resilience but for the way she made people feel-valued, loved, and alive.
She is survived by her son Crue Trosper, fiancé Jabari Trosper, parents Ian Hoecker and Melody Horton, brother Aidan Hoecker and step siblings Nicole and Trevor Hawkins. She will also be dearly missed by her large and loving extended family and her family of friends who stood by her side through every step of her journey.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 7:00 PM at Gala 417 in Virginia Beach. Cremation and Funeral Services of Tidewater is assisting the family.
