Jordan William Snyder

September 26, 1985 – September 9, 2025

SUTTONS BAY – Jordan William Snyder, 39, of Suttons Bay, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Munson Medical Center with his wife by his side.

Jordan was born September 26, 1985, in Las Vegas, Nevada, the son of Jon Snyder and

Jacqueline Snyder of Las Vegas, Nevada. He moved from Las Vegas to Suttons Bay Michigan in 2012 to be with the love of his life, Jennifer (Vingsness) Snyder. They married on September 21, 2013, at the Keswick United Methodist Church.

Jordan is survived by his devoted wife, Jennifer, his loving parents Jon and Jacqueline, a

half-brother Taylor Snyder as well as his 6 cherished dogs. Oliver, Ruby, Gracie, Bernard, Donny and Vinny. He leaves behind special friends who became family over the years, Amanda and Edmund (Ethan & Isaac) Squires. He will be fondly remembered by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and relatives by marriage.

He was preceded in death by his beloved stepmother, Jodi Snyder, a cherished dog Bentley as well as treasured Grandparents.

Jordan found immense joy in his love of NFL Football. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jordan worked for many years at Walmart in Traverse City and always looked forward to each NFL season where he and some of his co-workers would engage in their Fantasy Football League.

Jordan loved listening to and collecting music from numerous metal bands, attending concerts, and loved wearing & collecting various band shirts. He also enjoyed immersing himself in video games, as well as watching the Pittsburgh Penguins. Jordan was known to crack jokes, and he maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.

His wife and parents would like to take this opportunity to thank and express their deep gratitude and appreciation to the caregivers involved with his care and the comfort they provided him, as well as to his many friends for their continued friendship and support during his life.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of everyone he touched. May he rest in peace, in the arms of the Lord, forever.

A celebration of Jordan's life will occur on September 26, 2025, located outdoors at the Snyder Home, 2030 S. Pineview Rd., Suttons Bay, Michigan from 4pm - 8pm. You're encouraged to wear your favorite football gear, band shirt, or casual attire. We want to celebrate Jordan and all the things that he loved in a life well lived.
