Jorgen Andersson, born on May 11, 1945, in Copenhagen, Denmark, passed away peacefully at home on January 15, 2025. He was a beloved father, a dedicated professional, and a cherished friend to many.

Jorgen's educational journey began at Santa Barbara High School, which laid the foundation for his future successes. He further pursued his education at San Francisco State University and California State University, Northridge (CSUN), where he honed the skills that would later lead to a remarkable career in accounting. His career began at Security Pacific Bank, but he soon transitioned into the field of accounting, ultimately becoming a proud independent self-employed CPA. Jorgen devoted himself to his practice, always going above and beyond for his clients who he cared for deeply.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jorgen was known as a "Gentle Giant." He had a knack for being available, offering a compassionate ear to anyone in need, and his kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew him. His personality shone brightly, characterized by his hard work, fairness, generosity, sense of humor, and welcoming nature.

Jorgen was also a sports enthusiast, often engaging in spirited discussions about various sports with friends and family. Baseball held a special place in his heart, but his passion for sports transcended to all kinds, fostering connections and memories with those around him.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Andersson, who carries forward his legacy of kindness and dedication. Jorgen was preceded in death by his father, Helge Andersson; mother, Ellen Andersson; and brother, Flemming Andersson.

A memorial service to celebrate Jorgen’s life will be held on February 11, 2025, at Crawford Lorenzen Mortuary in Los Angeles, California, beginning at 2:00 PM and concluding at 4:00 PM.
