With deep sorrow, but also gratitude for his life, the Cerón family announces the passing of our beloved José Adolfo Cerón, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, brother, uncle, cousin and God Father to 33 God Children whose legacy of love, honesty, hard work, and joy will forever remain in our hearts.
José was a tireless worker, the fourth of 9 children a pillar of his family, and a constant source of support and wisdom. His dedication to his wife, Cruz Maria Casco Cerón, his children, Laura Rutty, Yesi Ceron, Ruben Ceron and Estefani Ceron, and grandchildren, Damian Reyes Estrada, Julien Juan Galvez, Liam Aaron Galvez, Lazaro Ruben Ceron, Maya Natalie Fuentes, Gabriella Mia Fuentes, Kylie Valentina Rutty, Remy Isabella Mejia, and Cali Cruz Ceron, was unwavering and unmatched. He had a deep love for sports-not only as a player, a referee, and coach, but also as a passionate Real Madrid fan and the number one supporter of his grandchildren. His energy and enthusiasm at their games were unmatched, and his competitive spirit was always filled with love, pride, confidence, knowledge, and fearlessness to be outspoken.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Jose will always remember his honesty, quick wit, great sense of humor, willingness to help others, strong character, endless energy, and unwavering loyalty. José lived with passion, laughed wholeheartedly, and loved unconditionally.
In his final moments Jose was surrounded by the love and support of his family, who comforted him with words of peace and love until his last breath. Though his departure leaves an immense void, his love, memories, and life lessons will remain with us forever.
Rest in peace, Jose. Your light will never fade.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am Saturday March 1, 2025 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday February 28, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Su dedicación a su esposa, Cruz Maria Casco Cerón, sus hijos, Laura Rutty, Yesi Ceron, Ruben Ceron y Estefani Ceron, y sus nietos, Damian Reyes Estrada, Julien Juan Galvez, Liam Aaron Galvez, Lazaro Ruben Ceron, Maya Natalie Ceron, Maya Natalie Fuentes, Gabriella Mia Fuentes, Kylie Valentina Rutty, Remy Isabella Mejía y Cali Cruz Ceron, fue incomparable e inigualable. Tenía un profundo amor por los deportes, no solo como jugador, árbitro y entrenador, sino también como fanático apasionado del Real Madrid y el partidario número uno de sus nietos. Su energía y entusiasmo en sus juegos eran inigualables, y su espíritu competitivo siempre estaba lleno de amor, orgullo, confianza, conocimiento e intrepidez para ser franco.
