Jose Rolando Contreras, 51, passed away on September 22, 2025 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on March 16, 1974, in Jalpatagua, Guatemala, to Amanda and the late Jose-Horacio Contreras.
Jose excelled as a heavy equipment operator and later finished his career as a Class A CDL driver. Known for his strong work ethic and dedication, he took pride in providing for his family and giving his best in everything he did.
He found joy in family meals at home, spending time with his dogs, golfing, hiking, boating, long drives, and fishing.
Jose will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his laughter, and the importance he placed on family. He is survived by his loving wife, Michele, his sons, Brian and Brendan Contreras, his mother Amanda, many siblings, and extended family members who will cherish his memory.
A celebration of life will be held at Southwest Assembly of God in Lakewood, Colorado, on Saturday, September 27, at 2 p.m.
