Jose Gustavo Delgado Valles

October 19, 1950 – July 5, 2025

Jose Gustavo Delgado Valles, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2025, at his cherished ranch in Kerens, Texas. He was 74 years old.

Born in Mechor Múzquiz, Coahuila on October 19, 1950. Jose immigrated to the United States with a dream and a determination to build a better life for his family. Through unwavering hard work and perseverance, he became a self-made entrepreneur who built a successful construction business and later fulfilled his passion as a rancher.

Jose was the embodiment of strength, dedication, and generosity. He was a proud provider, deeply committed to his family. His life was marked by resilience, faith, and love for the land he cultivated and the family he nurtured.

He is preceded in death by his father, Fidencio Delgado Bustos, and his mother, Maria De Jesus Valles Menchaca.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Valentina Trigo; his daughters, Rosa Guadalupe Rodriguez and husband Juan. Brenda Hernandez and husband Erick; his son, Jose Fidencio Delgado and wife Stephanie; brothers, David Delgado Valles and Juan Delgado Valles.

Jose was a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren: Layo Alejandro Rodriguez and wife Genesis, Anthony Rodriguez, Laysa Rodriguez, Joseph Delgado, Natalie Delgado, Francesca Delgado, Eva Trigo, Julissa Hernandez, Erick Hernandez, and Matthew Hernandez. He also leaves behind four great-grandchildren Penelope Rodriguez, Jason Rodriguez, Angel Rodriguez, and Angelo N. Rodriguez.

His legacy lives on in the strength and unity of the family he loved so deeply.
