Jose Gordillo, 67 years old, peacefully passed away on March 26, 2025. He was born in Guatemala on April 13, 1957, to Jose and Julia (née Molina) Gordillo.
Jose is survived by his beloved wife, Socorro; his son, Alan (Jessie) Gordillo; his sister, Rosa María Minera; and a wide circle of extended family and friends.
A dedicated member of Iglesia Emanuel Cincy Church for many years, Jose deeply valued his relationship with God and took great pride in the church community. My husband was a man with a big heart, noble, and would give everything he had to meet any need. Known for his friendly demeanor, he had a remarkable ability to connect with others, often bringing laughter and joy into their lives with his great sense of humor.
In addition to his devotion to his faith, Jose enjoyed various hobbies, such as target shooting and watching action movies. His fashion style, always on trend, was highlighted by his love for cowboy hats and boots. One of his greatest pleasures was hosting barbecues, where he loved bringing family and friends together.
A memorial service to honor Jose’s life will be held on Saturday, April 5th, at Iglesia Emanuel Cincy, at 11:00AM (1600 Glendale-Milford Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45215)
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to a charity of your choice in his honor.
