Jose Herrera Gutierrez

Jose Herrera-Gutierrez (Known as Longo by Family and Friends and Cibao in the community), 71 of Jamaica Plain, Ma. Passed away peacefully on September 3,2025 surrounded by loved ones. Born on Feb 19,1954 in Moca, Dominican Republic. Jose lived a life of love, laughter and devotion to his family. He was a beloved husband/father/grandfather/brother/friend., known for his kindness. He is survived by his wife Petronila Herrera, his children Ricky and Ana, his grandchildren Kelmy and Mia, and his mother Australia Herrera, brothers and sisters and his close family in Dominican Republic. He was preceded in death by his mother Ana Gutierrez and father Andres Herrera and his sister Gisela Herrera and Eloisa Rosario.

Jose will be remembered for his community involvement, his hard for over 37 years and his dedication to his family and friends.

Family and Friends are invited to gather for visiting hours at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Tuesday September 9 from 5-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church 14 Montebello Rd. Jamaica Plain on Wednesday September 10 at 10 am. Burial at St. Michaels Cemetery. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
