José Luis Angeles Franco of Uvalde, Texas, passed away on August 11, 2024, in Uvalde, Texas, at the age of 78.
He was born on February 18, 1946, in Comonfort, Guanajuato Mexico, to Juana Franco Bustos and Cesareo Angeles Aguilera.
He is survived by his sister, Teresita Angeles Franco; son, Luis Javier Angeles and wife, Christina Angeles of Round Rock, Texas; daughter, Ana Lilia Weston and husband, Clay Weston of San Antonio, Texas; two grandchildren, Caden James Weston and Grace Isabella Weston of San Antonio, Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife, Altagracia Angeles; parents, Juana Franco Bustos and Cesareo Angeles Aguilera; brother José Angeles Franco; sisters, Onésima Angeles Franco, Consuelo Angeles Franco, Maria Esther Angeles Franco, and Maria Guadalupe Angeles Franco.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. followed by a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 23 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery
