Our beloved father Jose "Joe" G. Molano Sr, 81, was born on April 22th 1943. He was born in Eagle Pass, Texas. He peacefully entered into the arms of his savior on March 16th 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Raquel (Diaz) Molano; his parents Feliciano and Ofelia (Gonzalez) Molano and his siblings: Albert Molano, Margaret Guzman, Dora De la Garza, and Rosa Hunter.
Joe was a proud Vietnam Veteran, Charlie Co HHC2/12 "65-67. He retired from the Dept. of Fish and Wildlife, and enjoyed traveling and family gatherings. He instilled the values of service, family and community into his children. He married his high school sweetheart and dear wife Raquel on November 28th, 1964 at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Wapato, WA. They will be celebrating their 61st anniversary in paradise together this year.
He is survived by brother Oscar Molano and sister Irene (Molano) Gomez as well as his children Celeste (Tom) Donlon and their ten children, Jose (Brenda) Molano and their five children, Felicia (Seth) Molano and daughter along with sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Viewing and Rosary from 4:00pm-7:00pm (Rosary at 5:00 pm) on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, at Brookside Funeral Home, Moxee, WA. Mass of Christian burial on Friday, April 4th, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Paul's Cathedral, Yakima, WA. Military Burial at Elmwood Cemetery in Toppenish with a reception to follow.
Memorials: Monetary donations can be given to Vietnam Veterans of America at https://vva.org/donate/ in Joe's honor.
