Jose Lionel Ovalle Jr. passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He was 71 years old.

Born on September 13, 1954, in San Antonio, Texas, Jose lived a life full of heart, resilience, and devotion to his family. Known for his kindness, sharp sense of humor, and easygoing spirit, he brought light and comfort to those around him.

After graduating from high school, Jose proudly joined the United States Marine Corps, where he served his country with honor and dedication. His time in the Marines shaped the strength, discipline, and integrity that he carried throughout his life.

Following his military service, Jose discovered his love for auto paint and bodywork, mastering the trade with pride and precision. He had an eye for detail and a talent for restoring beauty to every vehicle he touched. His work wasn't just a job, it was a craft, and he poured his heart into it.

He also had a deep passion for riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The open road was his sanctuary, and few things brought him more joy than the freedom of a ride. Whether working in the shop or cruising on two wheels, Jose lived life with a strong sense of purpose and passion.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mercedes Ovalle and Lionel Ovalle.

Jose is deeply loved and will be missed dearly by his four older sisters Isabel Gonzalez, Maria Teresa Arzola, Sylvia Jaquez, and Delia Ovalle, and his three daughters Cynthia Montes De Oca, Rosalie Ovalle, and Leticia Hernandez; his 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, and so many lifelong friends who cherished him dearly.

Jose's legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the skills he passed down, and the love he gave so freely. His memory will forever ride on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
