Jose Ramiro Pedraza Carpio May 21st, 2000 – October 8th, 2025 Jose Ramiro Pedraza Carpio was born May 21st, 2000 at St. John's Hospital in Camarillo California. He was the third born child to Imelda and Jaime Pedraza. He attended Royal High School and graduated in 2018. After High school he joined the California Conservation Corps (CCC) for 3 years. He was stationed in Ukiah, California and then transferred to Camarillo, California for the remainder of his service. Family will call him by Ramiro, but he went by Jose with his friends and the rest of the world. He was loving, caring, funny, and shy. He felt as a protector wanting to make sure that your voice was heard and would speak up for those that felt they did not have a voice. When you would talk, he made sure the people around would quite down so you could speak and have the floor. He was honest and would tell you if something did not look right. He did not like big crowds but once he was comfortable in a group he would become outgoing. He attempting to make sure everyone felt included and would listen to you if you needed him. He took care of his mom when she was ill and would help around the house. When you needed him, he would be there to help. When he was little, he participated in little league soccer and in middle school he was in football. He also knew how to ice-skate and if you were scared, he would take your hand and guide you. He loved all animals and preferred the outdoors, he dreamed of working in national parks and be able to be out in nature. In his pass time he liked to do woodwork and would build birdhouses. He had so many ideas of projects he wanted to complete and loved to learn about history especially medieval times. He got into politics and loved to get in debates with people. He grew to love cooking and loved the satisfaction when he saw that you like a dish he would make for you. Ramiro, it is hard to place in words everything you taught us. I know that each person that met you, you have changed their life or perspective a good way. You had sprinkled your heart into every soul. Ramiro, you will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Your love, your laughter, and your spirit will forever be a part of us. Rest in peace.
