Jose Perez of Red Bank, NJ passed away on April 1, 2025. He was an amazing man. Anyone that knew Jose, absolutely loved him. He was a kind man who always had a smile on his face. He never spoke much but when he did you listened. The little GIANT of our family is an enormous loss for us all.
We all have so many fond memories of him from 34 years of cooking at Sal's Tavern to endless hours spent on the porch at 41 Locust Avenue to watching baseball games and raising pigeons and rabbits. To the man that worked hard and gave us all the best childhood memories and stayed with us through adulthood.
Jose is survived by his wife, Rafaela "Fela", children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. We were all blessed to have him for as long as we did. We are all so fortunate to have had him for 88 years.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5th from 5-7 pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701.
