José Quiñones Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jose de Jesus Quinones, Jr. "Jessie", a larger-than-life presence who left an indelible mark on all who knew him. Born June 2, 1975 in Santiago Papasquiaro Durango, Mexico, he was a passionate sports fanatic, known for his encyclopedic knowledge of statics and his unwavering loyalty to his favorite teams.
Though he often wore a grumpy exterior, those close to him knew that beneath it lay a charming spirit and a fierce loyalty to his friends and family. Jessie's unique blend of humor and gruffness made him unforgettable, and his love for sports brought many together in lively debates and spirited discussions.
He is survived by his mother Esperanza Quinones, his sons Logan Jesus Quinones and Benjamin Emigdio Quinones, siblings and nephews. Who will cherish the memories of his passionate rants and affectionate teasing. Jessie may have left us, but his legacy of charm and spirited enthusiasm for life will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, December 26 at Iles Grandview Park Funeral Chapel. Prayer Service will begin at 12:00 PM Saturday, December 27 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Des Moines Iowa.
Burial will be later in Mexico.
