Obituary published on Legacy.com by Leal Funeral Home - South Houston on Nov. 30, 2025.

Jose Alfredo Reyes, age 36, resident of Houston, Texas, passed away on November 25, 2025.

Throughout his life, Alfredo was known for his contagious joy and his spirit full of light. Even after long and heavy workdays, he always found a way to smile and bring encouragement to those around him. His faith in God as his Savior was the foundation of his life, and he lived each day with gratitude and devotion.

He never liked to be sad. His life was a reflection of joy: laughing, playing, and joking with everyone were part of his essence. With his cheerful character and heart full of faith, he left an unforgettable mark on his family, friends, and community.

His greatest joy was being the father of Ángela Reyes, who at just 1 year and 5 months old had her father for too short a time. Even so, Alfredo lived each day working and dreaming of her. Becoming a father was the greatest gift God granted him, and he embraced it with love and faith.

Alfredo will be remembered for his laughter, his unwavering faith, and the love he poured into his family. His legacy of joy and devotion will continue to shine in the lives of all who knew him.
