Jose Z. Robledo Jr.

Jose Z. Robledo, Jr., of New Braunfels, passed away on December 19, 2025 at his home with his beloved family by his side. Born on February 19, 1949 in Juarez, Mexico, he was the son of the late Jose Robledo, Sr. and Carmen Zavala Robledo.

He served in the United States Army from October 4, 1968 to May 27, 1971. He was a Petroleum Storage Specialist, E-5. Served in Vietnam from 1969 to 1970. He started his career with Northrop Grumman as a Aircraft Mechanic. Eventually his division was sold to Vought Aircraft Company where he eventually retired after 33 years as a Aircraft Inspector. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family and shopping at Home Depot and Lowe's. Jose was a devoted and loving husband and father.

Jose is survived by his wife of 55 years, Tanya M. (Rouzan) Robledo; children, David Robledo and Michael Robledo; 6 grandchildren, Christian, Alexander, Jasmin, Samuel, David Jr., and Nathan Robledo. In addition to his parents, Jose was preceded in death by his two brothers; Pedro Zavala and Manuel Robledo.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors at 1:45 PM.
