Jose Leo Terrazas-Soto, 54, entered eternal rest with his children by his side on December 16th Jose was born in Santa Ana, Durango, Mexico September 28, 1971. He lived a life built on strong values & a profound love for his family. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him will remember his sharp wit, his endless stories, & his ability to make everyone laugh with his mischievous humor. Jose was a hard worker, ensuring his family was supported & cared for. Though he is no longer here, he will live on in the lessons he taught & the memories we will forever hold dear.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Marisol (Jake), & their children: Andrea, Aracelli “Rosie” (Gabriel), Nayelli (Luis), & Diego. His three grandchildren, Jeremiah, James, & Cataleya, who were truly the light of his life. Jose leaves behind his beloved siblings: Pedro “Tatino” (Chayo), Juan (Berna), Martha “Delia” (Ignacio), Maria de Refugio “Cuca” (Salomon), & Eva Angelina (Waldo), along with many nieces & nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso & Lucia Terrazas, both from Santa Ana, Durango, & his siblings: Carlos; Artemio “Daniel”; Noel; & Elena “Nena.”
Services will be held at St. Anthony’s Church in Pecos on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026. Starting with Rosary at 10am, Funeral at 11am, with burial following at St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
