José Horacio Treviño was born on August 4, 1939, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, México, to José Hermenegildo Treviño Chacón and Maria Justa Treviño Treviño. He passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, in Plano, Texas at the age of 86.

José Horacio was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be remembered as a dedicated family man who carried a strong work ethic throughout his life. Always putting in the effort to make sure his loved ones were cared for. He had a passion for cars, but his greatest joy was spending time with the family and friends who he loved dearly. José Horacio was a generous man that never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a hand to help others. He will be remembered as a kindhearted man whose presence brought warmth and light to everyone around him.

José Horacio is survived by his loving wife, Idalia G. Martinez de Treviño; his son, José Horacio Treviño, and wife, Yadira Treviño; his daughter, Adriana Treviño-Villarreal, and husband, Hector Hugo Villarreal; grandchildren, Fernando Antonio Moreno, Edgar Horacio Treviño, Daniella Lizeth Treviño, Rodrigo Treviño, and Gabriella Adriana Villarreal; great-grandchildren, Iker Horacio Treviño and Oliver Eduardo Treviño; as well as many extended family members and friends.

José Horacio Treviño nació el 4 de agosto de 1939 en Monterrey, Nuevo León, México, hijo de José Hermenegildo Treviño Chacón y María Justa Treviño Treviño. Entró al descanso el 26 de agosto de 2025 en Plano, Texas a la edad de 86 años.

José Horacio fue un esposo, padre, abuelo y bisabuelo devoto; será recordado como un hombre de familia dedicado que mantuvo una fuerte ética de trabajo a lo largo de su vida. Siempre esforzándose para asegurarse de que sus seres queridos estuvieran bien cuidados.

Tenía pasión por los autos, pero su mayor alegría era pasar tiempo con la familia y los amigos a quienes amaba profundamente. José Horacio fue un hombre generoso que nunca conoció a un extraño y que siempre estaba dispuesto a tender la mano para ayudar a los demás. Martínez de Treviño; a su hijo, José Horacio Treviño, y su esposa, Yadira Treviño; a su hija, Adriana Treviño-Villarreal, y su esposo, Héctor Hugo Villarreal; a sus nietos, Fernando Antonio Moreno, Edgar Horacio Treviño, Daniella Lizeth Treviño, Rodrigo Treviño y Gabriella Adriana Villarreal; a sus bisnietos, Iker Horacio Treviño y Oliver Eduardo Treviño; así como a muchos familiares y amigos.
