Joseph Hassen Aidif

AIDIF, Joseph Hassen - Age 79, of Fenton, died Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Genesys Health Park. Cremation has taken place and funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, with Rev. Clifford Furness officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 11:00 AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Lake Fenton United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice. Joseph was born February 22, 1931 in Dearborn, the son of Allie H. and Mary A. (Exel) Aidif. He was a 1949 graduate of Flint Northern High School. He married Donna Ruth Holcombe October 2, 1954 in Flint. Joseph retired in 1986 as a Design Leader for GM Buick Engineering after 37 1/2 years of service. He was a member of Lake Fenton United Methodist Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, especially enjoying trout fishing and deer hunting. Surviving are: wife, Donna; 3 sons, Daniel and wife Wendy of Winter Park, FL, Ronald and wife Kristen of Grandville and Dale and wife Suzanne of Grand Blanc; 9 grandchildren, Caley, Cameron, Leah, Justin, Tori, Lance, Cryston, Tera and Aaron; 5 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, James and wife Bernadine of Flint and Thomas and wife Lila of Virginia; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Frank Neldon and a great grandson. His love and guidance will be greatly missed by his wife, sons and grandchildren.
