Joseph Anderson Obituary
Joseph Anderson Sr. peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
His passing brings a deep sense of loss, but also a celebration of a life filled with love and cherished memories. He is reunited with his beloved wife, Cleo Nixon Anderson; son, Joseph Anderson Jr.; and other family members who have gone before him. Born on June 6, 1946, in Sumter, SC, to the late Irene Smith Anderson and Frank Anderson. Joseph Anderson Sr. is lovingly remembered by his two sons, Michael (Victoria) Anderson of Rembert, SC, and Jamie Anderson of Sumter, SC. He also leaves behind a treasured grandson, Michael Anderson Jr., and five precious granddaughters, Mikia, Mikayah, and Milayah Anderson, all of Rembert, SC, Mariah Anderson of Raleigh, NC, and Ashley Anderson of Bridgeport, CT. Surrounded by a circle of love, he is survived by his two sisters, Rosa Lee Bendolph of New Milford, CT, and Irene Hall of Eastover, SC; three sister-in-laws, Janie Hardy of Sumter, SC, Minnie (Cephus) Beatty, and Dianna Wardlaw of Columbia, SC.
He will be deeply missed by countless beloved relatives, nieces, nephews, and close friends, all of whom will hold his memory close to their hearts.
