Joseph L. Andrews

Joseph L. Andrews was born August 5, 1938, in Mulhall, OK, a son of the late Elmer and Pauline (Scheiling) Andrews. He passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at his home in Yukon, OK, at the age of 87.

Joseph grew up on the family farm in Mulhall and graduated from Mulhall High School. After graduation, he faithfully served his country in the United States Army, where he was honorably discharged as a Private First Class.

Following his military service, Joseph took a job in New York working in communications, where he met Roberta Herziger. They were married on May 30, 1965, and later moved back to Oklahoma, where he began working for Western Electric. Joseph later joined Dayton Tire, working in maintenance for Allied Maintenance and eventually becoming a supervisor. He retired after 30 years of dedicated service.

In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Andrews and Bob Andrews, and his sister, Polly McLaughlin.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Roberta Andrews; sons, Will Andrews and wife Stacey, and Jim Andrews and wife Kim; daughter, Jennifer Gollhofer and husband Randall; five granddaughters; one great-grandson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Oklahoma Heart Association.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Yukon, OK.
