Joseph Antee Obituary
September 15, 1961 - February 9, 2025
Funeral services for Michael "Boo-Boo" Antee will be at 1:30PM on Thursday, February 13, 2025 in Comrade Baptist Church, 1052 Hwy. 8, Simpson, La., with the Revs. Gary Bush and Roger George officiating.
There will be a visitation on Thursday at Fall Creek Funeral Home, 1800 Military Hwy, Pineville, from 10AM to 12Noon, followed by a motorcycle procession to the church for services.
Mr. Antee, age 63, entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 9, 2025 near Simpson, La., from injuries sustained in a tragic motorcycle accident.
"Boo-Boo" attended Comrade Baptist Church. He worked for many years as a mechanic and construction worker in his earlier years, then for the past 26 years he headed the maintenance department at Pinecrest State School where he retired in 2020. His passions in life were fishing, riding motorcycles and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jess Willard Antee, Sr.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 34 years
Martha Cheatwood Antee of Flatwoods, his children, Jason Antee (Casey) of Boyce, Michael Antee (Star) of Flatwoods, Belinda Lodridge of Tioga and Maelee Antee of Flatwoods. His loving mother, Pearl Setliff Guillory of Flatwoods. His stepchildren, Raymond Lowe of Wardville and Jenny Cheatwood of Orange, Texas. Two brothers Willard Antee (Jethsa) of Gardner and Paul Antee (Phillnet) of Leesville. Two sisters, Kathy Robinson of Forest Hill and Beth Antee of Gardner. His uncle, John Albert Setliff (Carrie) of Flatwoods. Three grandchildren, Ayden Antee, Carter Woodard and Karson Antee. Three step grandchildren, Kobe Lowe, Jordan Lowe and Xavier Lowe.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be: Michael Antee, Jason Antee, Willard Antee, Trey Pharis, Michael Dauzat, Dan Ober, Freddie Grappe, John Setliff, Paul Antee and Jerry Dauzat.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fall Creek of Louisiana, Robbie Dauzat, Director.
