Joe Atkinson a beloved husband, brother, and friend, peacefully passed away on February 2, 2024. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Atley and Dortha Atkinson; his brother Tom Atkinson; his sister Sara Killian; his son Eric Atkinson; as well as his mother and father-in-law, Lois and Vern Johnson.
Joe will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate to have known him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Lora Atkinson; his loving son, Nathan Atkinson; his caring sisters, Martha and Lorraine; and his brother, Matt Atkinson. Joe's memory will also be cherished by his dear in-laws: Nora and Manny Martinez, Tina and Bob Keeling, and Irene Garcia.
In life, Joe touched the hearts of many with his kind spirit, warm smile, and gentle demeanor. He had a way of making those around him feel valued and loved. Joe's unwavering faith in the Lord served as a source of strength throughout his life.
Joe's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy serves as a reminder of the importance of love, compassion, and faith in our shared human experience.
