Joseph L. Ayotte, 71, of Main St. Wyoming, RI, died suddenly on Friday April 4, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Mary F. (Zegarzewski) Ayotte.

Born in Westerly, RI, on June 2. 1953, he was the son of the late Leo and Mary (Kennedy) Ayotte.

Joe served his country proudly in the United States Airforce for over 9 years and was a Vietnam Veteran.

Joe retired as the Maintenance Supervisor Wood River Health Services. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Phenix Sportsman's Club and Narragansett Gun Club.

Mr. Ayotte loved his family and enjoyed being a Little League Coach or Boy Scout Leader when his two sons were growing up. He also loved riding his motorcycle with Mary by his side and camping. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Besides his loving and devoted wife, he will be sadly missed by his two sons Christopher Ayotte (Jenn) and Michael Ayotte. He was the loving grandfather of Riley, Sparrow, Macie and Sadie. He also leaves his sister Cindy Ayotte. He was predeceased by his sister Mary Ayotte.

Per Joe's wishes all services will be private.
