Joseph Bauer Obituary

and later became a skilled home improvement contractor and classic car enthusiast, known for his award-winning 1969 Camaro.
He began his career at Bauer and Riggio Embroidery alongside his father and later co-founded Sonny Mills Embroidery in Guttenberg.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Lori Bauer; daughters Amanda (Thomas) Sanders and Candice (Scott) Parker; stepchildren Stacey (Matt) Carlock and Adel (Max) Pappas; and grandchildren Sarina, Addison, Christian, Samantha, Miles, Molly, and Dylan. He was the beloved brother of Deborah (Gerard) Dreyer and Virginia (Gene) Dumaresq, and brother-in-law to Louis Syslo. He was predeceased by his sister, Beverly Syslo.
A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 1-4 p.m. at Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus, NJ, with a memorial service at 4 p.m.
