Joseph Edmund Beasley, 51, of Greenwood, Indiana passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at VA Medical Center in Indianapolis.
Joseph was born on March 3, 1973, to Harold E. and Cora M. (Crawford) Beasley in Indianapolis, Indiana. Joseph enlisted into the U.S Marine Corps in 1992 and served until 1996. He was an immensely proud Marine. Joseph worked for Excel Heating and Cooling in Greenwood as a HVAC Tech. He enjoyed his job very much as well as his co-workers. He attended Crosspointe Community Church in Greenwood. Joseph was a huge movie buff. He also enjoyed playing video games, eating seafood, and loved collecting guns and ammo.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Jennifer Beasley of Greenwood, IN; parents, Harold and Cora Beasley of Indianapolis, IN; stepson, Kaleb Poynter of Greenwood, IN; brothers, James (Tammy) Beasley of Greenwood, IN, Jason (Amanda) Beasley of Brookville, OH; 2 nieces, 3 nephews, 1 great niece, 1 great nephew and many aunts, uncles and cousins residing in Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee.
Joseph was an organ donor; his corneas will allow 2 people the gift of sight.
Visitation is Saturday, December 28, 2024, 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.
Funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm.
Joseph will be laid to rest on his birthday in March 2025 at Crown Hill National Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
