Joseph Boney Obituary
January 7, 1940 - June 3, 2024
Joseph A. Boney, Sr. (84) of Fort Pierce, FL, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, June 3, 2024.
Born in Atlantic City on January 7, 1940, he was a graduate of Pleasantville High School in New Jersey and was a retired, self-employed plumber.
Joseph enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, old black and white westerns, and playing poker with his friends at Ocean Resorts on North Hutchinson Island. Previously, he was a coach for the Egg Harbor Township Youth Organization in New Jersey and a member of the Bargaintown, NJ Volunteer Fire Company.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Julia Boney, and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife Kay, children Judith (Bob McLaughlin), Joseph (Sandy), Michael (Jan) and Linda Carr (James Hall); sister Judith Last (Geoff); stepchildren Andrea Francis, Christine O'Connor and Kenneth Stetser; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 1 niece and several cousins.
Services will be private.

May you rest in peace, Joseph. I will treasure all the time we have spent together from walking golf courses as a child while you and my Dad played, to your visit to Kentucky, and of course my visits to see you in Florida where we talked endlessly about all our family members! You were very special to me and I was proud to be your "Goddaughter"!
