I worked with Joe for less than a year at Bacon Industries, but we became good friends. After I left Bacon we used to get together after work to play golf at Ponkapoag or another nearby course. We would play until way past sundown hoping to hit the ball straight so we could find it in the fairway. After I had children we would get together at his house or my house. We lost touch over the years, but I will never forget the times we spent together. I will truly miss Joe. Rest in Peace, my friend.

I have served "Mustang Joe" for the past three years at Grove Manor. Top time favorite resident to say the least. Always asking about school, and dance asking for updates and making sure I was getting all A´s. He always stuck up for us when another resident would yell at us kids hahah!! Even after I left for college last year, I would come back and work for breaks and we would talk each others ears off like nothing changed. "Heyy Sammi, how´s it goin kiddo" always followed by a fist bump. Seeing how much he cared for us kids working in the dining room, I can´t even imagine the kind of love he had for his family, who he would talk about all the time. Mustang Joe is a friend I will never forget and I am sending my condolences to all family and friends<3

I work at Grove manor and all I can say is Joe made me smile everyday. With his "hey Kiddo how are you" with the fist pump. He was so nice to me and my kids. He was such a great soul and a wonderful human.

We met Joe in 2016, our 1st season with Braintree Challenger League. He outfitted my son with his first glove and was so patient with him as he learned to hit with out the T. Such a huge loss to the league, the community and his family. Our condolences to everyone

I am a high school student and worker at Grove Manor, where I´ve had the privilege of knowing Joe over the past year and a half. He would always ask me about running, knowing I do cross country, and always offered a fist bump. He never failed to make me laugh. I got to share so many sweet conversations with him that I am so grateful for. prayers for his family.
