Joseph "Joe" James Boughter, born on August 20, 1967, in Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on January 4, 2025.
Joe is survived by his wife, Bettina (Blue) Boughter; his mother, Margie (Hite) Boughter; his daughter, Hailey Boughter and her wife, Emilly (Clark) Boughter; his sister, Joan (Boughter) Meyer and her husband John Meyer; and his brother, David Boughter Jr. He is preceded in death by his father, David S. Boughter Sr., Larry and Kathy Blue, his mother and father in-law.
Joe dedicated much of his career to the Walmart Distribution Center, where he began working in 1994. After nearly three decades of service, he retired in 2021 due to medical reasons. Outside of work, Joe found joy in the great outdoors, and playing farming video games. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who cherished time spent immersed in nature.
Joe’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his love for life and the outdoors bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
The viewing will take place at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home of Beebe, Arkansas on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers monetary donations can be made to the family or the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
