CONNERSVILLE, Ind. – Joseph "Joe" Lee Brawley, age 71, of Connersville, Indiana, died Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Forest Park Health Campus.
Born June 30, 1952, in Fountain City, Indiana, to Merle and Joan Reece Brawley, Joe was a life-long resident of this area. He was a resident at CRF in Connersville for over 20 years. Joe enjoyed bowling, crocheting, Colts football, and loved to be around people. He attended Green Acres for many years and loved being there. The thing that brought the most joy to Joe was being with his brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
Survivors include his brothers and sisters, Paul (Glenda) Brawley, Judith (Tony) Brown, Betty (Brian) Uhl, Richard (Joanie) Brawley, David (Rose) Brawley, and Keith Brawley; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; aunt, Mary Farr; and uncles, Ronald Reece, Carl Farr, and Michael Lewis.
Joe's family would like to give special thanks to: Forest Park Health Campus employees, Reid Hospice, and all the staff at CRF in Connersville, for the excellent care Joe received from them.
Visitation for Joseph Lee Brawley will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2024, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville, Indiana. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2024, at Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Bentley officiating. Entombment will follow in Earlham Memorial Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be made to: Reid Foundation for the Hospice Program, 1100 Reid Parkway, Richmond, IN 47374.
