It is with profound love and sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Earl Bumbrey, Jr., who went home to be with the Lord on September 28, 2025, at the age of 63.
Joseph was a devoted husband to Alice Bumbrey, a loving father to Jassmin Bumbrey-DeCastro, and a caring stepfather to Shawn Davis. He was the cherished son of the late Elizabeth "Betty" Bumbrey and Joseph Earl Bumbrey, Sr., and a beloved brother to Eric Bumbrey, Patrice Bumbrey, and Nakova Bumbrey Ward. He leaves behind eight treasured grandchildren, aunts,uncles, and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever remember his kindness and spirit.
Joseph proudly joined the United States Army at a young age, demonstrating courage and dedication to his country. He was a gifted artist, known for his incredible talent in drawing, and often shared his creativity with those around him. His sense of humor, gentle wisdom, and generous heart touched every life he encountered.

In loving memory of my husband, Joseph Earl Bumbrey Jr., the person who was my entire world. For 28 years, we shared an extraordinary bond that transcended ordinary love. He was not just my spouse, but my closest confidant, with whom I shared countless moments of joy, sorrow, and unwavering devotion.
Our love was so profound that it seemed to exist in its own universe, where only we mattered. Joseph made it abundantly clear to everyone how much he cherished me, often declaring, "That's my baby," with pride and tenderness. His love was a constant, breathing life into every moment we shared.
Now, in his absence, a profound emptiness consumes my heart. The pain of losing him is immeasurable, yet I find solace in knowing that his love continues to live within me. I am certain that when my time comes, he will be waiting with open arms, ready to embrace me once more.
Until we reunite, my beloved Joseph, I will carry your memory close to my heart. Rest peacefully, my love, and continue to soar high.
