Gates: Saturday, April 26, 2025, at age 90. He is predeceased by his parents, Paul & Stella Burgio; brothers, Ralph (Rose) Burgio, John (Ida) Burgio, Salvatore (Josephine) Burgio, and Paul Burgio. He is survived by his daughters, Lisa (Ken) Lindsay and Valerie Burgio (Barry Herbin); their mother, Jean (Ralph) Delisanti; granddaughters, Emily and Elizabeth Wall; sister-in-law, Virginia Burgio; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, stationed in Japan, where he worked as a radar maintenance technician. Upon returning home, Joe pursued a long and respected career as a carpenter. Known for his skill and reliability, he worked on projects both large and small and maintained lasting relationships with many customers who came to feel like family.
He found joy in simple pleasures, particularly tending to his garden in the evening light.
At Joe's request, no formal services will be held. In his memory, friends and loved ones are invited to plant something in the garden this year, share a joke, embrace those dear to them, and raise a glass of scotch in his honor.
He will be deeply missed.
