Joe will be most remembered for his kind and gentle smile. He was meticulous in all he did, especially when tending to his garden. He was a toe tapping music lover who played the trumpet and piano and loved all types of music. He was an avid White Sox fan and had a penchant for classic and luxury cars.
Visitation 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. A Funeral Procession to St. Cletus Church, in La Grange will follow the visiting hours. Mass 11:30 a.m. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joe's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/) are appreciated. Funeral information: (708) 352-6500

If I wrote all the memories down that I have of Joe, the page would be full. A gentleman, patient, kind, helpful, and a dear friend. Especially dealing with 5 loud card playing women in the house many times a year. We had a lot of laughs. Love you Joe and Marianne. So sorry for the family´s great loss.
