Joseph Cioffi Obituary
COHOES - Joseph Anthony Cioffi, 71, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 19, 2024, surrounded by family, at the Rosewood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in East Greenbush.
Joseph was born on July 29, 1952, in Troy, and was the son of the late Nicola and Yolanda Cioffi. He was a graduate of Troy High School and was employed by General Electric as a forklift operator for many years before retiring. Joe enjoyed traveling, dining out and spending time with his longtime partner Mary Suschinski. He also enjoyed time spent with his sons' families, especially his grandchildren.
Joe is survived by his loving sons, Nicholas J. (Jennifer) Cioffi, Michael J. (Laura) Cioffi and Joseph P. (Courtney) Cioffi; his cherished grandchildren, Dominic, Daniel and Liliana; his half-sister, Antoinette Macri and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two half-brothers, Louis and Lawrence; and three half-sisters, Angela Colarusso, Louise Rowe and Anna Cuozzo.
Services will be private at the convenience of his family. Inurnment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy.

So sorry to hear about Joe. Joe and I ran lift trucks together at Waterford GE. Joe was quick with a laugh and a joke. I know he cared very deeply about his sons and grandchildren. Rest in Peace Joe. Ron St. Pierre.
