With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Daniell of Medford, Massachusetts. Joseph grew up in Arlington and was the beloved son of the late William and Lorraine Daniell and a cherished member of a close-knit family. He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Williams, her husband, Billy, his treasured grandson, William, who brought him tremendous joy, and Gracie, his beloved Grand Dog, who he adored.
His bond with Ashley was profound-she was his guiding light, his constant source of strength, and his greatest love. Being her father was undoubtedly his most cherished role, and she was his greatest source of pride.
In his professional life, Joe built a successful career as an IT consultant, a field he took great pride in. Known for his passion for his dedication, problem-solving skills, and helping others, he was always willing to lend a hand or offer advice.
Joseph will be lovingly remembered by his siblings: Michael Daniell and his late wife Lisa of Arlington, Ken Daniell of Waltham, Kim Spillane and her husband Pat of Norton, William Daniell and his wife Maryanne of Tewksbury, and Brian Daniell and his wife Michelle of Acton. He also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews who will miss their dear Uncle Joe and forever hold him in their hearts.
Joe will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the deep love he had for his family. He touched many people with his generosity, wit, and unwavering kindness, always striving to make those around him smile. His grandson, William, brought him boundless happiness, and he reveled in watching him grow. Joseph's presence brought joy, laughter, and light to those around him, and he deeply cared for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Joseph is now reunited with his beloved parents, who welcomed him with open arms. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will continue to celebrate his life and legacy.
Funeral services will be held at St. Eulalia Church in Winchester on Saturday, January 18th, at 10 a.m. The family invites all who knew and loved Joseph to join in celebrating his life and paying their respects.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Joseph's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Contributions can be made online at www.stjude.org/donate.
