Joseph Dees "Joe" Davis Jr.

Joseph Dees Davis, Jr., "Joe", a resident of Jarreau, died on Monday, July 1, 2024. He was 76 years old and was retired from Dominion Power with over 40 years of service. Memorial Visitation will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 12 pm until service at 2 pm. He is survived by his children, Michelle Lee Coston and husband, Greg, Joseph Dees Davis III and Cory Hamilton Davis; 2 sisters, Debra Borsuk and husband, Joseph and Cathy Davis Danielle and husband, Larry; 6 grandchildren, Samantha Porter and husband, Richard, Hunter Maurer and wife, Paige, Austin Davis, Gabby Davis, Kai Davis and Ivy Davis; 3 great-grandchildren, Jackson Maurer, Emerson Waller and Carver Porter. He is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Robia Ivy Davis, parents, Joe and Ginny Davis and brother, Phillip Leigh Davis. Joe was an avid golfer. He was a graduate of Northwestern State University where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
