Joseph Dentice Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Harder Funeral Home - Brookfield on Feb. 16, 2026.
Born to Eternal Life February 12, 2026, at the age of 96 years. Preceded in death by his loving wife Dora, his father Antonio, his mother Giuseppina, his sisters Antoinett Burgarno, Josephine Ferrito, Catherine D'Amato and his brother Salvatore.

Joe is survived by his brothers, Gino (Gladis) and Peter (Janice Ping) Dentice. Dear brother-in-law of Frank D'Amato. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, February 28th at 11:00 AM at THREE HOLY WOMEN PARISH – ST. RITA'S, 1617 N. Cass Street, Milwaukee. Visitation at church on Saturday from 9:30 AM until time of Mass. Private interment Holy Cross.

Joe came to the United States from Sicily in 1947. Upon his arrival Joseph and his father started the Dentice Produce Company, which he ran until his retirement at the age of 70. Joe was a soccer aficionado and traveled the world attending many World Cup Soccer Championships. His greatest thrill was when he got to meet the greatest soccer player, Pele.

He was also a devoted and long-time member of Three Holy Women Parish. Before Joe's health declined, he very much enjoyed his involvement with The Italian Community Center, The Pompeii Men's Club, Sons of Italy and the M.S.S. Addolorata Society.
