Joseph A. DePierro of Stoneham, formerly of Cambridge passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 16, 2005 at his home. He was 53 years of age. Born in Cambridge, Joseph has been a resident of Stoneham for the past 15 years. Joseph was the cherished son of Paul DePierro and Emma (Dengler) DePierro of Marshfield. Joseph was a loving and caring son, brother, husband, father, uncle and dear friend. He will be missed by all. Joseph was a dedicated electronic technician for the Post Office for many years. He loved his family. They were first and foremost in his life. Joseph was the beloved husband of Joanne (Cornelio) DePierro. He was the devoted father of Paul DePierro. Joseph was the dear brother of Peter DePierro of Mansfield, Maryann Cavanaugh of Sandwich, Edward DePierro of Braintree, Linda Pearlstein of Marshfield, Christopher DePierro of Norwood, Cynthia Fluke of Sandwich and the late Walter DePierro of Marshfield. He was the loving godfather of Julie Canelli and Brian O'Rourke. Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Saturday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Joseph's life in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Friday 4-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham. Flowers are welcomed, or if you wish, please make donations in memory of Joseph to the American Heart Assoc. 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
