Dias-Joseph Manuel, of Milford died on (Friday, August 1, 2025) in Worcester, MA, United States of America. He was 82. Beloved husband to late Ann Marie Dias (born Thompson); loving father of Joseph Dias and Allen Joseph Dias; proud grandfather of Caitlyn, Chelsie and Camryn Dias; great grandfather of Lilyetta Dias; cherished son of late Bento Dias and Catherine Dias (born Giordano); devoted brother of Emily Compagnon, (Bill Compagnon), Nancy Tibbetts (Johnathon Tibbetts); uncle to Michael Lapin, Michelle Lapin and the late Christopher Lapin, uncle to Erica Tibbetts, Jeffrey Tibbetts (Abigail Tibbetts), son-in-law to late (Albert and Lillian Thompson), and friend and protector to many. Born November 15, 1942 in Milford, MA; graduated from Milford High School; served on the Milford Police Force. Joseph was the first generation to Bento Dias; his father from Portugal and to Catherine Giordano; his mother from Italy, to establish roots in the United States along with his sisters Emily and Nancy. He was a lover of nature, an avid gem/rock collector, loved any adventure in the mountains, lakes, rivers and the ocean. He loved dogs, had many throughout his life Snoopy, Max, Bowie, and Lucy. He will be missed by all.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11:30 AM at St. Mary Parish 77 Mendon St. Uxbridge.
