Earlier today
I am deeply saddened to hear about Joe´s passing. I´ve known Joe since third grade at Blessed Sacrament and then through our four years together at St. John´s. Those early memories are filled with his kindness, his easy smile, and the gentle way he treated everyone around him.
I was also fortunate to work with his father on a few real estate projects over the years, and that same goodness clearly ran in the family.
Even though I moved away from Washington and didn´t see Joe as often-seeing him at some of the Class of ´67 reunions-every time we did speak, it was as if no time had passed. He always lifted the conversation with his warmth, his stories, and his genuine love for family.
Joe was a truly good man, the kind you don´t forget. I will always be grateful for the friendship we shared from childhood onward. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, and with all who loved him. May he rest in peace.

I´m deeply saddened by the news of the passing of my longtime friend, Joe. We watched our children grow up together in Kensington, played golf together in later years, and had many great conversations which were always a pleasure. We even did some business together. Truly a loss.
