Joseph "Joe" Martin Eiler, age 38, of
Fountain, Florida, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026. He was born on December 4, 1987, in
St. Petersburg, Florida, to Jeffrey Joseph Eiler and Nadine Sue Pearish. Joe was sadly not discovered until March 17, 2026.
Joe will be remembered for the life he lived and the memories he shared with those who knew and loved him.
Growing up, Joe is remembered as the prankster of the family. This carried on into his adult life where he was quick to fill any room with laughter. Joe was a family man who made it a point to let people know they were loved. Family cookouts, birthday parties, weddings… he wasn't only there, he was the life of the party. He was a loving father who dedicated his time to the care of his daughters. He cherished their Saturday morning pancakes, the Father-Daughter dances, and just regular days spent playing in the yard with the girls. The immense love Joe had for his family will forever live in the memories they shared together.
Joe's friends remember him as a fun and positive influence, a selfless person who didn't hesitate to lend a hand. Shared stories describe him as the kind of guy who would pull over to help someone on the side of the road, someone who would do anything to help, be anywhere for you and ask nothing in return, except maybe a cold beer. Joe loved to cook for others, and relished in being surrounded by family and friends. He never met a stranger who didn't become a friend, was someone you could depend on, and he always had a smile on his face. Joe loved life and didn't pass on any opportunity to inspire others around him.
Joe spent most of his life working in construction, which required him to travel and be away from his family. He had recently switched career paths, following in his dad's footsteps, working at a car dealership with the sole purpose of being home every night with his daughters. Joe was a hard worker, a goal setter who worked diligently for many years in search of "the good life" with his family, a dog, a pig, and a new home to better suit the needs of his daughters. Joe's dreams were just coming to fruition and will carry on for his girls.
Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents John "Jack" and Gisele Eiler, James Martin Beatty Jr., and Carol Hood.
Joe is survived by his loving daughters, Ally and Abby; his parents, Jeffrey Joseph Eiler of
Fountain, FL, and Nadine Sue Pearish of
Panama City, FL; grandmother Mary Beatty of Butler, PA; sister Jolene Kerr (Michael) of Newton, IA; brothers, Troy Pearish of
Panama City, FL; Kristopher McCollam-Pearish (Hannah) of Apopka, FL; and Jonathan Eiler of
Fountain, FL; niece Serenity Kerr; nephews James Kerr and Jackson Eiler; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Those wishing to send condolences may send them to the care of Heritage Funeral Home, 247 N Tyndall Pkwy,
Panama City, FL 32404. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Florida Guardian At Litem program or victim's advocacy group in Joe's memory.
