Larry "Buck" Foster

Larry "Buck" Foster, 76, of Panama City, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

Buck was born on February 21, 1950 in Panama City and was a life-long resident of Bay County. He worked as a commercial fisherman for most of his life. Buck was a strong and confident man, but he was also humble. He was well respected by his peers and had many friends. Buck dearly loved his family, his wife, Tracey and especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his strength and his loving heart.

Buck is preceded in death by his parents, James Bramblette and Mary Elizabeth Foster; brothers, James Bramblette, Jr., James Robert Foster, Charles Kenneth Foster, Harry Eugene Foster and Stephen Hershel Foster; sister, Deborah Jean Foster (Nelson); nephew, James "David" Foster; former wife, Debra S. Foster; and stepson, Sonny Chavez.

Those left to treasure his memory include his wife, Tracy Mace Foster; daughters, Sirena Foster (Scott), June Carter (Eric) and Ryann Foster; sons, Joshua Foster and Cole Foster (Holly); stepson, Troy Chavez; grandchildren, Michael Birringer (Samantha), Jessica Miller (Ryan), Jonathan Carter (Casey), Sierra Carter, Jeremiah Foster, Hannah Foster, Tyler Foster, Blake Foster, Matthew Foster, Kaitlyn Kirvin. Jocelyn Kirvin, T.J. Chavez, Chase Chavez and Christian "Chico" Chavez; numerous great-grandchildren; one surviving brother, Russell "Rusty" Dewey Foster; numerous nieces and nephews that he loved very much; his best friend, Danny Miller; and his dog, Aubie, who was loyal to the end.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home. A graveside service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. at Callaway Cemetery, with Rev. Carl Curti officiating.
