Ringling – Services for Joseph Don Estrada, will take place at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 11, 2025, at the Ringling High School Multi-Purpose Building. The service will be led by Sister Ellen Abshire, with assistance from Robert Jacobson and Tanner Koons. Following the service, interment will occur at Petersburg Cemetery. The arrangements are entrusted to Alexander Gray Funeral of Ringling.
Joseph Don Estrada was born on March 26, 2007, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Cheryl Lynn Estrada. He departed this life on April 4, 2025, at his residence in Ringling, Oklahoma, at the age of 18 years and 9 days.
A lifelong resident of Ringling, Joseph was currently a member of the junior class at Ringling High School. Affectionately known as "Big Joe," he demonstrated a passion for sports, excelling in football, basketball, and track, where he earned numerous medals and recognition for his athletic prowess. In addition to sports, Joseph enjoyed church activities, fishing, and playing video games. He was a dedicated uncle and took great pride in caring for his family.
Joseph was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Estrada, and his grandfather, Tony Ballard.
He is survived by his grandmother, Barbara Ballard, who resides at the family home; his sister, Cheyanne Estrada, and her son, Maximus, of Ringling, Ok; his brother, Bradly Grant, and wife Jessica of Lone Grove; as well as his aunts, Karen Sanderson (Bryan Stout) of Park Hill, Ok and Kathy Wimberly of Pauls Valley, Ok; his uncle, Tony Ballard Jr., and wife Lisa; and numerous other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will consist of the members of the Ringling High School Football team, with honorary bearers including Farrow Taylor, Mickey Dewbre, and Tony Ballard, Jr.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening, April 10, 2025, from 6-8 PM at Alexander Gray Funeral Home.
