Joseph Ferguson, (Joe, Joey, DW), passed away on October 5th, 2025 at the age of 59 with his children, Brian and Mel Ferguson by his side.

His life, defined by his joy, warmth and awesome sense of humor, came to an unexpected end, too soon for us all.

He was born in The Bronx to his parents, Joseph Ferguson and Maryann Burns. He was preceded in death by both parents and sister, Kathrine Guzi.

He is survived by his siblings, Edward Ferguson, Elizabeth Rocafuerte (Brian), and Anne Ferguson. He leaves behind his beloved niece and nephews, Eliza Rocafuerte, Christopher Ferguson, Brendan Clifford-Ferguson, and Matthew Guzi. He is also survived by his step parents, Joseph McIntyre and Patricia Donohue-Ferguson.

Joseph's children were the loves of his life. His family, his rock. His music and creativity were his passions. Finding joy was his peace. He will forever be remembered for his kindness, generous nature, integrity, and aura of love.

The family welcomes all to celebrate Joseph's life at the chapel of Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service, 207 E. Elm Street, Graham, NC on Saturday, October 25, 2025 with the visitation from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. and the service to follow from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m.

A Memorial in Music will begin at 6:00 p.m. and all are welcome at 3-Thirty-3 Sports Bar, 2427 Corporation Parkway, Burlington, NC 27215.

Floral arrangements are welcome. However, the family requests that you honor Joe's memory by making a kind donation to your local food banks to support the fight against food insecurity.
