Joseph Fowler, 63, loving husband to Judy Lee Fowler, passed away, Fri., March 16, 2012 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was born in Owensboro, KY to the late James L. and Myrtle Lane Fowler on Oct. 21, 1948. He was a Bus Driver for Red Cross and a Marine Veteran. He spent much of his time teaching, playing and being a wonderful role model for his children and grandchildren, who were his greatest enjoyment and passion in life. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Bobby Fowler of Owensboro, Ginger Palmer, Julie (Greg) Jasper & Lowell Frashure all of Georgetown, Shane Fowler of Mascoutah, IL; many loving grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Pauline Ambs of Owensboro and many nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by four brothers, Ray, Bobby, Clyde & Wilbur Fowler; five sisters, Madeline Jones, Gladys Burge, Jean Kendall, Sue Wallace, Edna Muffett and a grandson, Bryan Joseph Jasper. Visitation is from 3:30-8:00 p.m. on Monday, Mar. 19, 2012 at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home, Georgetown, KY and on Wednesday, Mar. 21, from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at James H. Davis Funeral Home in Owensboro, KY. Services are at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at James H. Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Green Brier Cemetery in Daviess Co., KY, with pall bears being Bruce Lee, Ben Lee, John Zaremba, Randall Jones , Jerry Glahn & James Hardesty and honorary bearer, Brandon Stein.
