CHANGE OF SERVICE TIMES
Joseph Paul Fulginiti Jr., affectionately known as the OG, passed away on February 13, 2026, in Wrentham, Massachusetts, at the age of 91. Born on August 9, 1934, in Brockton, Massachusetts, Joe led a life filled with dedication, passion, and a deep love for his family and friends.
Joe's journey began in Brockton, where he was born and raised. He carried on a family legacy by owning Fulginiti Furs in downtown Brockton, a business founded in 1915 by his grandfather, Frank, and his father, Joseph. Joe ran the business for 30 years, continuing the family tradition with pride and commitment.
Joe's life was also marked by his military service. He enlisted in the Army and served in the K-9 units, where he trained German Shepherds to guard ammunition on the base. His role as a military policeman showcased his dedication and sense of duty.
Joe's personal life was centered around his family. He is survived by his daughters, Regina and Susan, his son, Joey and sister Kathleen. He had eight grandchildren: Jonathan, Ethan, Liliana, Nick, Matt, Nina, Izzy, and Dominic. Joe was predeceased by his wife, Rosemarie, who was a cherished partner and companion.
Joe's hobbies were as diverse as his interests. He loved playing golf, enjoying good jazz, and savoring delicious food. His love for his family was evident in his dedication to spending time with his children and grandchildren, always seeking to create lasting memories and have a good time together.
Joe was known for his kindness and his unwavering support for his family. He was a loving father and a great friend, always there to encourage and support his children in their endeavors. His friends and acquaintances who had the pleasure of knowing him will remember him as a true friend and a one-of-a-kind individual.
Joe's legacy is one of love, dedication, and a deep connection to those around him. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and celebrate the life he lived with passion and purpose.
Visiting Hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home 165 Belmont St BROCKTON on Saturday February 28th from 8:30-10am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church 433 West St Brockton at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
