Joseph Gabriel Girton, son of Christopher David Girton and Caroline Gabrielle (King) Girton of Fairview, Indiana was carried in love for 17 weeks before being called to Heaven on Monday, August 18, 2025. Joseph's expected arrival date was January 2026. This precious little one will always be remembered as a cherished part of their family.

Joseph will be lovingly remembered by his heartbroken parents, Christopher David Girton and Caroline Gabrielle (King) Girton of Fairview, IN; his big brothers, Elias Daniel Len Girton and Leland Windsor Girton of Fairview, IN; his paternal grandparents, Christina Lynn "Tina" (Chase) Girton and Jerry Girton of Vevay, IN; his paternal great-grandmother, Jill L. (Scudder) Chase of Fairview, IN; his maternal grandmother, Mendy Burton of Alexandria, KY; his maternal grandfather, Daniel King of Butler, KY; his paternal uncle, Samuel Girton of Vevay, IN; his maternal aunts and uncles, Malcolm Burton and Bridget Burton of Beattyville, KY, and Jason Michael Burton and Kristin Burton of Gulfport, MS; and his several great-aunts and great-uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal-great-grandfather, Jack Lee Chase; his paternal great-great-grandparents, Darrel Edwin Chase and Betty Jean (Scott) Chase, and Russell Scudder and Mary (Works) Scudder Luke; his maternal great-grandparents, Jerry Windsor Burton and Charlotte (Helton) Burton, and Lonnie King and Eliza (Childers) King; and his maternal-aunt, Eliza King.
