Joseph Kyle Gothard, born on April 14, 1971, in Arlington, Texas, passed away on August 13, 2025. A dedicated man, Joseph leaves behind a legacy woven through his work and family life. His career spanned various roles, including positions at Global One Communications, Tower of Texas, Yuasa Exide, Friendship Properties, and as a Plumber, where he demonstrated his commitment to every task undertaken.
Joseph had many interests that enriched his life. He was passionate about woodworking, spent cherished moments playing golf, and enjoyed the tranquility of fishing. These hobbies not only reflected his creative spirit but also offered him relaxation and fulfillment.
Throughout his life, Joseph briefly attended Bisbee Baptist Church, where he engaged with his community in meaningful ways. Notably, he was a devoted twin brother to Jeff Gothard, cherishing the unique bond they shared.
Joseph is survived by his loving family, including his daughters, Lauren Thomas and her husband Alec; sons, Nathan Gothard and Cash Gothard; parents, Jimmy and Freida Gothard; sister, Jackie English and her husband James; brothers, James Gothard and his wife Melissa, and Jeff Gothard. He is also remembered by his niece, Dailen Romberg, and nephews, Hunter Poimbeauf and Jeffrey Gothard.
Joseph was preceded in death by his grandparents, IV and Irene Gothard, Cleveland and Ruby Prince, and Glynda Fortner. His absence will be profoundly felt by those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will take place on August 26, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, held at Skyvue Funeral Home, located at 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, Texas 76063. Joseph's life, marked by love, dedication, and service, will be celebrated as family and friends gather to honor his memory.
