Joseph Gulli Obituary
He was a devoted husband, loving Father, and an amazing PopPop. He treasured every moment with his grandchildren. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. Joe dedicated his life to his family and was a loyal friend. He shared his love and knowledge unconditionally. He was loved and respected by all that knew him.
Joe will be greatly missed by his wife of 60 years, Teresa (nee) Aversa) and the devoted father of Angelina (Joseph) Salvatore, Rosa (Robert) Giampetro and Anthony (Megan) Gulli. Also survived by his five cherished grandchildren, Frank, Joseph, Isabella, Domenic, and Ava. As well as his dear brother, Jake Gulli and sister, Maria DiMucci.
Joe's life journey brought him from the scenic vistas of his birthplace in Saponara to a fulfilling life beginning in South Philadelphia then finally settling his family in West Deptford, NJ. His enduring love and commitment to his family remained a cornerstone of his character, reflecting deep-seated values instilled from his origins in Italy.
Relatives and friends are invited to join them for a viewing Thursday, July 18th at 9:30 AM followed by the Funeral Mass held in his honor at 11 AM at St. Charles Borromeo R.C. Church, 176 Stagecoach Road, Sicklerville, NJ. His final resting place will be at Calvary Cemetery, 2398 Marlton Pike West, Cherry Hill, NJ which will conclude his memorial.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a charity close to his heart, by visiting their website at www.stjude.org.
Joe's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, carried forward by the love and devotion of his family and friends. His life's journey, marked by his steadfast faith, dedication, and kindness, will remain a lasting legacy to all who were privileged to know him.
